7700R Plays in Round Robin and Skills Finals

Rolling Robots' Teams Win Big at the VEX World 2017 Championship in Louisville, Kentucky

7700R Wins Vex Worlds

We'd like to say a great big congratulations to all of our Rolling Robots team members for their great performance this past weekend at one of the biggest robotics competitions in the world. Two separate Rolling Robots teams recently competed at the Vex Robotics World 2017 Championship (April 20th-22nd, 2017) and both of our teams had a great run. The new team, 7700S, managed to finish 5th in the qualifying rounds and formed an alliance with 8000A to enter the elimination rounds. Team 7700R formed an alliance with 1010 (the ten-ton robotics team from Vancouver Canada) along with our friends team 6007 (Quantum Flux) from Sherman Oaks, California. Together we went on to win our division and compete in the Round Robin.

We also had 3 Vex IQ teams competing and collected a lot of photos over the course of the weekend, and we can't wait to share it all with you. We're still exhausted and are processing everything, but we're going to be adding more details about the great stories, friends, and learning experiences we gathered at this recent VEX World in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more info!
